The Northwest Chapter of the AAPM is hosting a one-day symposium on Friday, April 19th, 2013 at The Hilton Garden-Inn Portland/Beaverton Hotel, Beaverton, OR. The symposium begins with a lecture entitled “Imaging, Therapy and Future Technologies”, by our keynote speaker Lei Xing, Ph.D., Jacob Haimson Professor, Director of Radiation Physics Division, Department of Radiation Oncology, Stanford University. Followed by a series of 30 minute discussions each having an emphasis on the use of advanced imaging for increasingly individualized adaptive therapy.

Registration Information for attendees and students
Cost of the meeting is $50 per person, $25 for students. A continental breakfast, lunch and a social event are included in the registration fee.
Cancellation Policy: Registration fees will be refunded in full if written notice of cancellation is received by Friday, April 12th, 2013. Please send your cancellation request to Vee White via email (contact information below).
Continuing Education Credits
An application for MPCEC credits has been submitted to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) and an application for continuing education credit hours has been submitted to the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
CAMPEP Registration
For those attendees and students requesting CAMPEP credits there is an additional fee of $10.00 required. And all attendees and students will be required to complete and submit program and speaker evaluations to document your attendance at the symposium.

The Hilton Garden-Inn will also be our host hotel for the symposium. The hotel is offering our attendees, students and exhibiters the outstanding nightly rate of $124.00 for a single or double room for both Thursday April 18th and Friday April 19th. To make reservations please identify yourself as being associated with the April 19th 2013 NW AAMP meeting. We encourage you to make your reservations before Tuesday, April 2nd
