Mary
M. Austin-Seymour, MD
Vice-Chair
Department of Radiation Oncology
University Cancer Center
University of Washington Medical Center
Dr. Austin-Seymour specializes in head and neck cancer,
breast cancer, salivary gland tumors, and neutron radiotherapy. She is
the first Wootton Professor of Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Mary Austin-Seymour received her medical degree at the
University of Chicago. She became a doctor and specialized in oncology
because she likes to care for people at a critical time in their lives.
In taking care of patients, she tries to be a good listener and uses technological
advances to give patients the best possible radiation treatments
